Who we are

Sharon Carlson,  Global Professional Learning & Development (PLD) Manager

Sharon Carlson, Global Professional Learning & Development (PLD) Manager

Sharon has a Bachelor of Teaching and was one of the first to be an accredited NetSafe provider. She has been in the education sector for over 20 years in a variety of roles from Head Teacher, ECE Lecturer, PLD provider and Regional facilitator for CORE Education for the NZ Ministry of Education ICT 3-year research project. She has been involved with Storypark since 2011.

Beth Clements,  PLD Trainer - Brisbane, Australia

Beth Clements, PLD Trainer - Brisbane, Australia

Beth has worked in early childhood in a variety of roles over the last 17 years. She is a passionate advocate for children in the first five years and works with educators mentoring and coaching them in their roles. She is an energetic trainer supporting users to get the most out of their Storypark journey.

Amanda Higgins,  PLD Trainer - Wellington, New Zealand

Amanda Higgins, PLD Trainer - Wellington, New Zealand

Amanda has a Masters in Education, and her thesis investigated communication between teachers and families using ePortfolios. She has 30 years’ experience teaching and leading in community based ECE services, and was one of the first centres trialling Storypark. Amanda’s interests include enquiry learning, using ICT to engage children in learning, and nature education. She is a co-author of the environmental kinship guide.

Nellie Hodda, PLD Trainer - Sydney, Australia

Nellie Hodda, PLD Trainer - Sydney, Australia

Nellie was awarded the Macquarie University Award for Academic Excellence upon completion of her Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) degree. She has 10 years experience in a variety of early childhood settings in NSW and several years experience using Storypark within these settings. Nellie is an advocate for respectful practice with infants and toddlers in group care settings, with a focus on relational pedagogy, and is currently working towards becoming a RIE® Associate.

Lisa Lalonde, PLD Trainer - Ottawa, Canada

Lisa is a Registered ECE in Ontario, with a Graduate Degree in Educational Leadership and Management. Lisa has been with Storypark for a few years and provides public online workshops and support to our customers within Canada.

Athena Skliros, PLD Trainer - Toronto, Canada

Athena Skliros, PLD Trainer - Toronto, Canada

Athena is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with more than 16 years experience working with children and families. Athena is currently on faculty at Mothercraft College of Early Childhood Education, where she began her use of Storypark with her ECE students in the Applied Computer Skills course to promote innovative best practices and pedagogy in the field of ECE.

Marie-Eve Bouffard, PLD admin and webinar coordinator - Wellington, NZ

Marie-Eve Bouffard, PLD admin and webinar coordinator - Wellington, NZ

Marie-Eve is originally from Montreal and has a Bachelor of Communication. She now lives in New Zealand, where she has been working as an educator. Her role at Storypark allows her to combine her two passions: communication and children. As Storypark enters the French Canadian market, Marie-Eve has been working on the translation of the product and has been providing training for the educators.
